Projects Featured in Québec's New Architectural Quality Guide

May 29th 2026

Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes wishes to commend the publication of the Guide de bonnes pratiques : pour une architecture humaine, durable et créativeby the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. This document builds on the Politique nationale de l'architecture et de l'aménagement du territoire by illustrating concretely, through projects completed in Québec, how the 11 guiding principles of architectural quality can be put into practice.

We are honoured that four projects to which our firm contributed — the first phase (research centre) and the final phase of the new CHUM hospital complex, the Théâtre Gilles-Vigneault in Saint-Jérôme, and the Pôle culturel de Chambly — are featured as exemplary projects.

Their inclusion in this guide reflects the firm's commitment — and that of our partners — to delivering architecture of the highest quality, in service of the community. Dedicated to the design of meaningful institutional projects in the fields of health, transportation, education, culture, and research, Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes remains resolutely committed to a vision of architecture that is human, sustainable, and creative.
