Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes earn a silver certification from VÉLOSYMPATHIQUE

Last Thursday, with Vélo Québec’s President and CEO Jean-François Rheault and project manager Louis Lalonde, Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architects celebrated earning a silver level certification from VÉLOSYMPATHIQUE. In addition to recognizing organizations that encourage active and sustainable modes of transport and healthy lifestyle habits, this certification is a continuous improvement process encouraging the implementation of concrete internal actions.

As part of a commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, as well as promoting sustainable mobility and physical activity, the firm has established a workplace bicycle culture while taking the steps to obtain this certification. In less than a year, it set up a Cycling committee, shared resources and knowledge, and increased interior bicycle storage during the renovation of the office’s ground floor.

Jodoin Lamarre Pratte architectes is also one of the 20 SMEs in the 2024 cohortof Parcours Transition écologique Montréal, which offers personalized support to help managers oversee business growth that combines sustainability and performance. As a responsible corporate citizen, the firm is eager to take the lead in moving toward a decarbonized business model in ta time of profound environmental changes.
